PARKING to be temporarily unavailable in two streets in town due to an event.
Due to Ulverston Charter Family Fun Day taking place in town, there will be no parking on New Market Street and Market Place.
The streets will be unavailable for parking between 6am and 6pm tomorrow (Saturday 7).
A spokesperson for Ulverston Town Council said: "If you are parking in this area tonight, please ensure all vehicles are removed by 6am to ensure a smooth set up of the event.
"Thank you for your cooperation."
Ulverston Charter Free Family Fun Day is an annual celebration packed with events to celebrate the granting of the town's market charter in 1280.
The event will run from 10.30am to 3.30pm and will start with the town crier reading the charter.
Throughout the day there will be performances of Ulverston Town Band, Char and Boom Dang Drummers.
There will also be a family dog show and allotment awards.
