Booths is set to sponsor the food hall at the Westmorland Show.
The family-owned supermarket chain will champion local food and drink at the event, which celebrates the 250th anniversary of the Westmorland Agricultural Society.
The show is one of the oldest agricultural events in the country.
Booths will host tastings throughout the two-day festival on September 11 and 12, including coffee and tea masterclasses with beverage specialist Pete Read and artisan cheese tastings from regional producers.
Maurizio Bocchi, chef patron of La Locanda in Gisburn, will join the Booths team in the cookery theatre.
He will demonstrate a classic Italian recipe using seasonal local produce from Booths.
Booths marketing manager Helen Clarke said: "We’re really looking forward to supporting the Westmorland show and sharing our enthusiasm for great food and drink sourced from Booths Country.
"The Lake District and the wider county of Cumbria is a terrific larder for Booths, we source a wealth of delicious food and drink from the region, and we look forward to celebrating the countryside at the Westmorland Show."
