TWO hotels in south Cumbria have been handed new food hygiene ratings after inspection.
New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Westmorland and Furness’s hotels, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel, at Great Langdale, in Ambleside was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 30.
And The Ryebeck Hotel, at The Ryebeck, Lyth Valley Road, in Windermere was also given a score of four on July 30.
It means that of Westmorland and Furness's 668 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 553 (83%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
