A STAR-studded couple shared their glamourous stay in the Lake District at the Swan Hotel and Spa in Newby Bridge. 

Former The Only Way is Essex star Ricky Rayment was celebrating his birthday with Katie McGlynn, of Coronation Street, Hollywood and Waterloo Road fame. 

The pair have a combined 584,000 followers on Instagram. 

Praising her stay, McGlynn said: "A birthday weekend well spent.

McGlynn starred in 2021 series of Strictly Come Dancing, where she was partnered with Gorka Márquez. 

The Swan Hotel has over 300 years of history and also hosted fellow Coronation Street star Kym Marsh in 2022.

She told her 506,000 Instagram followers: "Had the most amazing stay at The Swan Hotel. We have always loved this place but they have taken it to another level.

"Their new spa is out of this world and we got the best weather with friends old and new.
