A former Barrow Raiders star has swapped the rugby pitch for cleaning patios.

Bradd Crellin has started a new business venture this week, officially launching Powerclean Pressure Washing Services, which will be based in his hometown of Millom but will also operate in various other locations across the county.

The forward decided to retire back in 2022 having made his debut for Whitehaven 12 years prior before spending eight seasons with Raiders.

He saw plenty of success with the rugby club, including being part of the squad that earned promotion to the Championship in 2021.

Now, instead of diving and tackling in the mud, he will be making sure that all the dirt is cleaned away.

The new business offers cleaning services for driveways, patios, paths, decking, fencing, and garden walls.
