A group of motorcycle enthusiasts have supported two local charities after a bike rally in Dalton.
The Furness Motorcycle Action Group held the Dead End Rally on July 13, and were able to visit the team at St Mary's Hospice in Ulverston last week.
There, they presented the charity with a cheque worth £500, with the same total having also already gone to CancerCare, which operates across north Lancashire and south Cumbria.
A spokesperson from the group commented: "Quite a lot of our members and members of Dalton Football Club have been affected by cancer and were helped and supported by both local charities, so we were very pleased to raise funds for both."
The Dead End Rally has grown to be a hugely popular date on the local calendar, with the event this year featuring appearances from Barrow and Furness MP Michelle Scrogham and former Dalton Mayor Councillor Nick Perie.
