DELAYS are to be expected due to temporary broadband works on a Lake District road.
A section of Station Road in Coniston will be closed whilst work from Openreach is being carried out.
Work is set to start on September 2 and it is anticipated to take up to three days to complete.
The exact location is at Station Road from its junction with Yewdale Road, extending in a south-easterly direction for a distance of approximately 100 m.
An alternative route can be found via the unrestricted section of Station Road, Broughton Road (A593) and Yewdale Road.
Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained where required for the duration of these works.
