A road in the Lake District is currently 'impassable' due to a fallen tree as a result of the stormy weather seen across Cumbria.
Meadow Road (U5758) in Bowness-on-Windermere will be closed for up to six hours due to the fallen tree.
Westmorland and Furness Council said its crews are on their way to safely remove the obstruction.
Due to the scale of operation, it is anticipated that the road to be closed for up to six hours.
Drivers are asked to please plan an alternative route before setting off to avoid queues in the area.
A Westmorland and Furness Council spokesman said: "We're still seeing the impacts of Storm Lilian here in Westmorland and Furness, with another tree down on Meadow Road in Bowness making it impassable."
