A business owner in Dalton has thanked the local community after raising thousands for charity.
Sian May, a massage therapist, has been running competitions over the past 10 months through social media and her business.

She revealed on Saturday, August 24 that, as a result of these, over £2,000 has been donated to several local charitable organisations.
Sian added: "I'm feeling very thankful and lucky - thanks to these amazing people with my competitions, we've managed to donate a lot over the past 10 months to some wonderful charities.
"Thank you to all those who have entered - every ticket bought and every like and share means the world."
The organisations Sian has supported are the Barrow Foodbank with £515, Dalton Leisure Centre with £750, and the Barrow branch of Andy's Man Club with £781.25.
