A SCHOOL has praised its students for 'achieving their very best' in their GCSEs results.
Just like thousands across the country, pupils at Dowdales School in Dalton received their GCSE results on Thursday.
Headteacher Emma Aubrey said they were 'all so proud' of Dowdales' class of 2024.

Ms Aubrey added: "They have worked so hard, and they have worked with grit and determination – they have achieved their very best.
"Well done to each and every one of them. They can go and follow their dreams with a great set of results to help them on their way."
