A BOWNESS man has admitted to possessing a kitchen knife in a public place in the Lake District village.
Steven Woodburn, 41, gave a guilty plea during a hearing at South Cumbria Magistrates in Barrow on August 22.
Woodburn, of Helm Close, admitted to carrying the knife on North Terrace in Bowness.
He was remanded in custody and his next hearing in Magistrates' Court is due for September 24.
