A club in south Cumbria is combining the spooky season with their love of running later this year.
On Thursday, August 22, the Millom Striders Running Club announced that people could now sign up to their Halloween 10k.
This will take place on Sunday, October 27, with online entries closing on the Friday beforehand.
The road race will start at the Millom Community Track, and will give participants the chance to admire the 'picturesque towns' of Millom and Haverigg as autumn draws in.
It will also come with some fantastic views of the southern Lake District fells towards Coniston Old Man and Scafell Pike, along with the Duddon Estuary.
With local food vendors set to be getting involved in the event, entries will cost £17, though a discount of £2 will be applied for UKA Affiliated entrants.
