Shobna took on the role of Ray in the hit musical, Jamie New's mother's best friend and a significant maternal figure in Jamie's life.
She performed this part during a West End run in 2018 as well as returning to the role for the film adaptation in 2021.
She said: "I'm wishing you all the love for your upcoming performances of Everybody's Talking About Jamie.
"You may know that I played Ray on the West End, in LA and in the film too.
"It's brilliant that you've been granted the full rights to this show - so enjoy yourselves, telling this unique coming-of-age story."

The character of Ray is known for being loving, supportive, and fiercely protective of Jamie in the musical.
Gulati's portrayal of Ray has been widely appreciated for its warmth and authenticity.
Away from the big screen, the actor has made a name for herself for stints in some of the UK's biggest institutions, including recurring roles in Coronation Street and Doctor Who.

A spokesperson from BODS said the entire cast was 'absolutely thrilled and very grateful' to receive the video message from the star, giving them further inspiration before they take to the stage.
It has been a slightly disrupted schedule for the performers, having originally been slated to take to the theatre at the Forum in Barrow.
However, due to the discovery of Asbestos at the site, the production was forced to find a new home, with the Coronation Hall welcoming them with open arms.
