Simon Rogan's restaurant, Rogan & Co., is launching its second instalment of the week-long 'Local Heroes' event.

In a 'celebration of all things local', the bi-annual event is set to take place from November 5 to November 9.

The restaurant's week-long event aims to showcase farmers, food producers, and artisans from across Cumbria that the restaurant regularly works alongside with.

One of the collaborators is photographer Nina Claridge, whose work will be featured in the restaurant during the event.

Rogan & Co. credits 'people like this' for playing a central role in shaping the venue's 'neighbourhood restaurant' identity.

The event will feature a seven-course tasting menu, curated by head chef Tom Reeves and executive chef Paul Burgalières.

The dishes showcase ingredients from some of Cumbria's finest suppliers and producers, including Beary Farm, Thornby Moor Dairy, Low Sizergh Barn, Cartmel Valley Game, and Eden Yard, a majority of whom are only a few miles from the restaurant's kitchen door.

This interactive culinary journey comes with a drinks pairing, designed to further highlight producers.

Shed One, Unsworth’s Yard and Fell Brewery are among the producers that are set to shine through the drinks and seasonal cocktails served throughout the week.

The event is priced at £89 per person.

In addition to sampling the seven-course tasting menu and the matched drinks pairings, diners will also enjoy accompanying snacks, served at either lunch or dinner.
