A festival that has been travelling across south Cumbria will be making its debut in Millom later this month.
FixFest has already proved to be a hit in places such as Ulverston, Barrow and Grange-over-Sands.
The festival, organised by People Planet Pocket CIC, will take place on Saturday, August 31 from 12 noon until 6pm at the Tin Chapel on Mainsgate Road.
The idea behind the project is to showcase how the local community can make use of fixing, mending, upcycling, sharing, waste-reduction and money-saving.
The free event will feature a range of stalls, workshops and exhibitions, celebrating the best that the surrounding area has to offer.
The festivals have been funded by Westmorland and Furness Council and Cumbria Action for Sustainability, giving the organisers the chance to take their creativity all over the region.
