A person was left with facial bruising after a racially aggravated assault in Barrow.
The incident was said to have happened at Barrow Park near the skate park at around 7pm on Thursday, August 15.
The incident involved a group of young people, who racially abused the victim before physically assaulting them, leaving them with bruising to the face.
The police are now investigating and are appealing for anyone with relevant information to come forward.
