A Starbucks branch is backing a local charity by committing itself to a year-long fundraiser.
St Mary's Hospice shared on Monday (August 19) that it had been selected as the 'Charity of the Year' by the coffee shop at Beehive Business Park, Ulverston.
This new partnership means that the team at Starbucks will be attempting to raise £2,000 for the hospice over the next 12 months.
They have already kickstarted their fundraising efforts with a bottle-top tombola in-store, giving customers the chance to win a selection of Starbucks merchandise.
The hospice took the time to thank the business for its support, with Events and Challenges Manager Mel Dixon branding the work as 'awesome'.
After sharing the news, the charity also urged its followers to support the ongoing challenge, with more updates set to be provided whenever the Starbucks crew come up with new fundraising ideas this year.
