Around 5,000 visitors interacted with the Pelican of London ship at this month's Barrow Tall Ships Festival.
The iconic ship attracted thousands to the quayside of Barrow-in-Furness for a weekend packed with nautical wonders.
In addition to Pelican of London, Spirit of Falmouth, Leader, The Brocklebank Tug and a host of other service commercial craft graced the festival site, attracting close to 17,000 attendees over two days.
Festival-goers explored the town's rich shipbuilding heritage, paying homage to Barrow's enduring innovative spirit and craftsmanship.
Adrian Ragbourne, chief executive of Seas Your Future, said: "Seeing around 5,000 visitors engage with the Pelican of London over the weekend was inspiring, but even more so was witnessing the transformation in the young people who sailed from Fort William to Barrow.
"Seas Your Future is dedicated to offering educational life-changing voyages at sea, where participants gain teamwork skills, confidence, resilience, and often a newfound interest in maritime careers."
Simon Thorrington, development and partnerships manager at Seas Your Future, said: "The voyage leading up to the festival was truly special, with young people from Barrow and Whitehaven sailing aboard the Pelican from Fort William over five days.
"Their stories, shared during an evening reception at Barrow Town Hall, were inspiring."
Visitors were able to take part in immersive experiences at the festival, such as traditional maritime crafts, educational workshops and guided tours.
There were also sea shanty performances and a range of cuisine at the maritime-themed food and art zone.
The Barrow Tall Ships Festival received support from sponsors and supporters, including BAE Systems, Associated British Ports, Seas Your Future, and others.
The people behind the Barrow Tall Ships Festival encourage future contributions to ensure the preservation of the town's naval and marine heritage for future generations.
