Barrow AFC's head coach Stephen Clemence will be taking on fans for charity later this week.
He is getting involved in the annual Barrow AFC vs Bluebirds Trust cricket game, which is happening at Furness Cricket Club on Friday, August 23 at 6pm.
Clemence will be joined by his assistant manager Robbie Stockdale as he takes charge of the AFC XI.
The Bluebirds Trust will once again be led by their director Stuart Nichol with former Barrow Mayor Councillor Chris Altree also taking to the field.
The money raised through the game will be going towards the Barrow AFC Foundation, the official charity of the club which prioritises driving long-term change in the local community.
With doors opening at 5pm, the evening will also feature a barbecue, a raffle, and an appearance from the club's mascot, Bluey.
There is still an opportunity for fans to show their support by sponsoring the players for a minimum of £25, details of which you can find here.
