A DOG was rescued by a mountain rescue team after falling down at a Lake District waterfall.
Langdale Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team (LAMRT) were called to a dog which had slipped and fallen down the waterfall at Stockghyll, Ambleside landing in a 'very precarious' position in between the two main columns of the waterfall.
A protracted and technical rope rescue took place to successfully recover the dog and return it to its owner.
The total incident happened on Thursday, August 15 and took just under 7 hours and 19 team members.
