Si King has described how 'special' one of Dave Myers' final TV appearances was after it was nominated for an award.
The Hairy Bikers' 'Coming Home For Christmas' aired last December on the BBC, but its legacy still lives on almost a year later.
The festive episode has gained a spot in fans' hearts, debuting just two months before Dave's passing following his two-year battle with cancer.
A particularly poignant moment in the episode features Dave get back on a motorbike for the first time since his chemotherapy treatment started, proving beyond doubt that his 'zest for life' never waned.
Making it even more meaningful is the fact that the helmet and jacket sported by Dave in the scene was also worn by Lili Myers, his wife, during the Dave Day celebrations in Barrow.
It is that scene that now has a chance to be named as the TV moment of the year at the Edinburgh TV Festival, which celebrates the best things to feature on the small screen across the past 12 months.

Reacting to the nomination, Si said: "Everybody at team Hairy Bikers has just learnt that we've been nominated for the Edinburgh TV Festival's 'TV moment of the year' for our 'Coming Home For Christmas' programme that aired at the end of last year before Dave sadly passed away.
"It's always wonderful to be celebrated by your industry, but what makes this award so special is that it's the one award in the whole festival that's voted for by you, the public."
