CHILDREN across south Cumbria have the chance to fine tune their singing voices next week.
Organised by the South Lakes Rock School and done in partnership with Westmorland and Furness Council, three 'Sing it Loud' workshops are being put on for free.
These will take place at Ulverston Library (currently at the Coro) at 10.30am, Barrow Library and Walney Library (both at 1.30pm) on Tuesday, August 20.
Whilst the Barrow session is now sold out, the other two workshops still have spaces available at the time of writing.
These will give participants the chance to write their own lyrics, find the perfect melodies and, most importantly, sing it loud.
The workshops are suitable for anyone over the age of eight, with booking - at no cost - essential to ensure that you have a spot before turning up.
