A PERSON has died after a crash on the M6.
Police said the M6 northbound will remain closed between junctions 36 and 38 this afternoon following a fatal road traffic collision involving a single vehicle earlier today (August 15).
The northbound carriageway is likely to remain closed for some time whilst police and partners continue their work at the scene of the incident, which occurred at around 11am.
Motorists are being advised to plan alternative routes if possible.
