A festival of cricket will be taking place in south Cumbria next month to celebrate the sport before winter arrives.
Organised by Ulverston Cricket Club, the event will be held on Sunday, September 15 from 10.30am at Priory Road.
The day will feature an all-star clash, as well as games for Ulverston's Dynamos, Rockets, Comets, under-11 and under-13 sides.
After the games, there will be a barbecue, live music and club presentations for the best performers from the current season.
In the build up to the event, the cricket club is now looking for help from the public with getting the site ready for the sporting festival.
They are also on the lookout for people to assist with the barbecue, cake stalls, food, and umpiring of the games.
If interested in getting involved, you can reach out to the cricket club here.
