A man was taken to hospital this morning (August 14) following a two-vehicle collision in Barrow.
The incident happened just before 10am involving a motorbike and a car on Salthouse Road.
Eyewitnesses reported a North West Air Ambulance arriving and landing on a nearby bowling green.

Police, as well as the fire service, also arrived on scene and a cordon was put in place as police officers investigated.
A statement from Cumbria Fire and Rescue said: "Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service was called to a two-vehicle road traffic collision today at 9:56am on Salthouse Road, Barrow.
"The incident involved a vehicle and a motorcycle. One male casualty is now in the care of North West Ambulance Service.
"The incident closed at 11.37am."
A resident who lives on Salthouse Road reported that the road is still closed off with a police cordon still in place as of 1.30pm.
Both residents and pedestrians are still reported to be kept away from the front of the street by police.
