The upcoming clash between Barrow AFC and Carlisle United will be used to spark a mental health discussion.
The hotly anticipated game will see the League Two sides battle it out at Brunton Park on Saturday, August 17 from 12.30pm.
However, on the side lines, another fight will be underway as the respective Andy's Man Clubs from the two towns join forces to encourage men to open up.
The charity groups, formed to prevent male suicide and to provide a regular space for men to talk, will be working at the fan zone on Saturday to promote their efforts and help break the stigma around having vulnerable conversations.
A spokesperson from the Barrow club commented: "We're so proud to represent Cumbria in this way."
The match will also see players on both sides wear t-shirts advertising Andy's Man Club during their warm-up practice.
