AN AGRICULTURAL show is returning to a Lake District village this month.
Hawkshead Show will be held on Tuesday, August 20 after a successful return last year which introduced a senior fell race and children’s sports.
Visitors will also be able to see horse and dog classes, private carriage driving and the horticultural aspects of the show, held at Hawkshead Hall Farm.
Social Media Secretary Lauren Brown said: "We are looking forward to another impressive show that will see the return of our sheep classes. We have had an exceptional amount of entries for this and we can’t wait to see the agricultural side of the show back up and running, alongside a variety of vintage tractors."
The sheep classes returning have seen over 350 entries this year.
There will be demonstrations including a sheep and dog display, wood carving, as well as children’s entertainment and giant tortoises.
"There is truly something for everyone at this show even the happy shoppers with over 85 trade stands. What a show this is going to be," said Lauren.
