A team of fundraisers will be pushing their bodies to the extreme in the name of a local charity.
St Mary's Hospice is once again organising a Born Survivor challenge, which has become an annual spectacle that continues to successfully raise funds for the organisation.
Located in the Ribble Valley, people taking part will put themselves through 5km or 10km routes designed by Royal Marine commandos, ensuring it will be no cake walk.
Throughout the challenge, participants will face 18 demanding obstacles - including fire jumps and mud pits - designed to test their endurance, physicality and sheer survival skills.
St Marys' take on the challenge is happening on Saturday, September 14, with spaces still available for anyone looking to get involved.
It will cost £30 to register and, for more information, you can contact melissa.dixon@stmaryshospice.org.uk.
