A church in Furness has been inspired by Rob Burrow's memory to send a sizable donation to charity.
On Saturday, August 10, the Dalton Community Church held a coffee morning and managed to raise £558.40 in the process.
This will be going to the Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in Leeds.

The rugby league star, who spent his career at Leeds Rhinos, died age 41 as a result of the disease in June, five years on from his initial diagnosis.
MND is a disease of the nerves that involves loss of mobility and is eventually terminal, with Burrow's story bringing the condition into the national limelight.
Hoping to build on this success, the church will be hosting another coffee morning on September 28 to raise money for Macmillan.
