A number of local businesses are coming together to back an upcoming charity event in south Cumbria.
Organised by St Mary's Hospice, the Walk to Remember is taking place on Friday, September 6.
With a record number of people already signed up, the event will see hundreds walk from Ulverston to Barrow to celebrate the lives of those they have lost.
The hospice shared on Sunday, August 11 that participants will be able to keep their energy up thanks to several business owners in the area.
These include Cumbrian Cow Ice Cream, the Flavour Trailer, Barrow's Coffee D'Ash, Love Pizza, and the Ulverston branch of McDonald's who are providing free water for those involved.
The aim of the event, besides remembering lost loved ones, is for everyone involved to hopefully raise at least £35 each to celebrate 35 years of the hospice's work.
