THE National Highways Agency have warned motorists to plan ahead as a result of a road traffic collision on the M6 this afternoon.
There are currently 60 minutes’ worth of delays within J31 of the M6 northbound at Preston.
National Highways have also reported a backlog of approximately 10 miles of congestion.
Check your route if you’re travelling on the motorway through the area today.
