Visitors to Ulverston can now explore a giant model of the town centre in Coronation Hall, created as part of a community art project.
The model, called Model Town Ulverston, includes a scaled-down version of landmarks such as the Roxy Cinema, Ulverston Brewery, Sir John Barrow School and a recreation of Ford Park.
The initiative was led by the Coro's art leader, Amy Whelan.
Ms Whelan organised model-building workshops throughout July and August as part of her Coro Craft Club.
She said: "We wanted to make it a true community project and we were amazed at how many people took part, making their houses, favourite buildings and the places that are special to them.
"I am absolutely delighted with the finished model and the creativity and variety on show is just fabulous.
"It makes a fantastic addition to the Coro and I would encourage everyone to pop in and appreciate the many different ways people have interpreted the unique character of this amazing town we are lucky to call home."
One of the contributors was Barbara Bundy, who was part of a team that created their own version of Ford Park.
She said: "It took us a few weeks but we all really enjoyed doing it and discovering newfound skills and creativity.
"Ford Park is a true community space for everyone to enjoy so we were delighted we could help contribute to Amy’s community art project."
Model Town Ulverston will be on display in Coronation Hall until early September.
The next Coro Craft Club will be part of Charter Day on September 7, from 10am to 3pm, focusing on making mini-market stalls.
