In the clip, he explained: "Eight o'clock in the morning I'll have fish and a rice cake," he said, before going into further detail.
"At 10 o'clock, I'll have fish. At 12 o'clock, I'll have fish and a rice cake.
"At two o'clock, I'll have fish. At four o'clock - just before I train - I'll have fish and a rice cake. I'll train, I'll have me fish.
"I'll come home, have some more fish, with a rice cake, and then have some more fish before I go to bed."
He and Jamie bonded over Danny's new rice cakes as they trained together the next day at the Gladiator's own gym named the Giant's Lair in Nottingham.
In a video named 'At 10' O' Clock we trained push with a rice cake', which was uploaded to Jamie's own YouTube channel, the pair chatted whilst training together.
Jamie, a IFBB professional bodybuilder himself, asked Danny's some pivotal questions such as who prescribed him his original diet for his competition.
Danny explains he was only on that diet for five days and says: "That wasn't my whole diet, it changed around and then yeah, that was it.
"People think that's all I've been eating for the last 18 years - which isn't the case."
Speaking to The Mail about his time training at the Gladiator's gym, Danny said: "It was non-stop laughs and a lot of banter - it was a real 'bromance'.
"He's 6ft 5" and looked quite imposing howeve, on his knees he's almost as tall as me.
"He's just as you see on TV - he's like a big friendly giant.
"His gym is rammed with such great equipment and we smashed chest, shoulders and triceps.
"He absolutely loves my rice cakes, which I'm buzzing about as if they're good enough for a Gladiator, they're good enough for anyone."
The pair plan to train again together and to upload more content in the future.
In the four weeks since Danny launched his own rice cakes, he's gone from strength to strength, quite literally, and has recently filmed advert for Tesco.
There are plans for Danny to be the face of the supermarket's health food range with more details to be announced.
