The famous Red Arrows are set to fly over Cumbria on Saturday (August 10) as the Royal Air Force aerobatics display team celebrates 60 years.
The pilots will leave Blackpool and soar over South Lakes skies past Penrith to Scotland perform a fly past at the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo event.
The show takes place between August 2 and August 24 and has been a highlight of the Scottish capital for a number of years, bringing together the best of military and international performances.

A statement on the official Edinburgh Tattoo website includes: "We are delighted to confirm that our friends at the Royal Air Force will operate several flypasts during our Journeys Show run."
The jets will set off from Blackpool around 5.42pm and begin to approach Edinburgh around 6.15pm.
They will then head back down over Cumbria, over Whitehaven, down the Furness peninsula, before returning to Blackpool for the Air Show Finale at 6.38pm.
Here are the exact timings to catch the jets flying overhead however note that timings and the route may change due to weather or requirements.

VCY of Cleveleys - 5.44pm
Haverthwaite - 5.47pm
North West of Penrith - 5.52pm
Edinburgh Flypast - 6.15pm
Whitehaven - 6.30pm
Blackpool finale - 6.38pm
This year will see nine Hawk T1 aircraft this year sporting special unveiled artwork on the side and tailfin of the jets to acknowledge the diamond season.
The display will include the outlines of two Red Arrows Hawk Jets trailing patriotic colours.
The pilots will head off on the five-week Maple Hawk overseas tour to Canada in the second half of August to mark the centennial of the Royal Canadian Airforce.
