Georgia Stanway has been supporting grassroots football across Barrow and Furness in the past few weeks.
As the new season is on the horizon, the Bayern Munich and Lioness star has been making sure that local clubs are in the best position to compete.
This has come in the form of donations of equipment to cut back costs for clubs that might be struggling financially in the current climate.

One such team to benefit from Stanway's generosity is Holker Old Boys, who shared that they had been backed by the Furness-born footballer on Friday, August 2.
They said: "A huge thanks to Georgia Stanway for her continued support of grassroots football.
"Her generous donation of new Nike match balls for the upcoming season is massively appreciated."

Stanway, who was part of the squad that won the women's Euros in 2022 and got to the final of the World Cup 2023, lived in Askam until she moved away at 16 to join the youth academy at Blackburn Rovers.
Despite that move to Lancashire, Stanway has evidently not forgotten her roots by supporting clubs in the region she grew up in.
Not only will the donations ensure that those teams can continue running, it also gives them more of an opportunity to nourish the next generation of sports stars, many of whom will be hoping to follow in Stanway's wake.

Furness Cavaliers Juniors, another of the organisations to receive backing, commented: "From everyone at the club, we would like to share a big thank you to Georgia Stanway for her support towards Furness Cavaliers Juniors.
"It's amazing what she is doing to help the local community and grassroots football - the equipment she has donated to the club is very much appreciated."
"We wish her all the best for the upcoming season at FC Bayern München and with the Lionesses - she is such an inspiration to so many local children in the area."
