An event in Grasmere is hoping to bring a taste of the Olympics to the Lake District later this month.
As people are wowed by athletes in Paris at the moment, the Lakeland Sports and Show is getting ready for its return on Sunday, August 25.
The event will feature fell running, hound trails, wrestling, a craft marquee and a dog show.
For children, there will also be a sprint track, long leap, and fun races so that as many people as possible can get involved.
Besides all the sport, other attractions include the 'Fat Cat' brass band, a circus performance, 'Wonder Wheelers', and face painting.
Gates will open at 9am on the day, with the event itself starting an hour later at Grasmere Sports Field.
You can pay on the day or, for a reduced price, you can book in advance by visiting the website here.
