Three lovely pooches, currently in the care of Animal Rescue Cumbria, are ready for rehoming. Are you ready to meet them?

Animal Rescue Cumbria and The Wainwright Shelter take in, rehabilitate and rehome 350 cats and dogs every year. Once a dog has been assessed by the animal care team, they can be advertised for adoption.

These beautiful dogs are ready to find their forever families…

LILLI is a Shih-Tzu breed, at the ripe old age of 11 years and eight months, she is looking for an ‘extra special’ retirement home.

She is a ‘very sweet’ girl who enjoys going for a walk and pottering in the garden.

Lilli would be best suited to a quiet home where there are no children and would like to live in a home where she is the only dog.

Animal Rescue Cumbria said she would make great company and could live alongside a cat.

Lilli enjoys company but can be a little reserved when meeting new people and being introduced to new surroundings, so she is looking for someone who can take things slow with her.

TEDDY is a young Lurcher, this affectionate 18-month-old pooch is looking for an understanding owner who can continue his training.

Teddy walks well with other dogs and needs a home with a secure garden.

He is ‘very sweet’ and could live with older children.

RIVER is a German Wirehaired Pointer, this sweet, two-year-old girl needs to continue her training.
