A team of apprentices have been going to the effort of 'sprucing up' Ulverston town centre this week.
The group of 12 from Siemens Energy have been repainting benches in the area, weeding certain patches of pavement, and generally making the town a cleaner place.
Ulverston Town Council took the time to thank the group for their efforts, describing their work as a 'brilliant job'.
The tidying comes in the wake of Ulverston BID's cal lout to make the town a cleaner place as they prepare to compete at the 2024 RHS Britain in Bloom awards.
Ulverston will be judged by a team of inspectors from the RHS on August 14 with locals asked to attend sessions on August 11 between 10am and 12.30pm, and on August 13 between 1.30pm and 4.30pm to make sure the town is ready to wow its visitors.
