Cumbria police will be providing neighbourhood patrols after an incident that has been classed as suspicious.
A man was asked to leave by a woman nearby after he was spotted talking to three youths at Boyd Park on Schneider Road, Barrow, on Tuesday.
A spokesperson for Cumbria police said: "Police were contacted at 8:28pm on 30 July to the report of a suspicious incident at Boyd Park on Schneider Road, Barrow.
"It is reported a man was talking to three young people in the area before being approached by a woman and asked to leave.
"The Neighbourhood Policing Team will be conducting patrols in the area to provide reassurance."
