The date has been set for the exclusive opening of a new coffee bar in Barrow town centre.
Coffee D'ash announced earlier this year that it was expanding its business, moving away from being a solely mobile and pop-up service.
Owner Ashley Holroyd, along with business partner and wife Sarah, will be moving into a retail unit at Portland Walk.
To make the opening of the new site even more special, a VIP event is being held on September 21 between 3pm and 6pm which will act as the very first day of business for the bar.
Sarah, who works as the social media and marketing manager for the business, said: "The local community has been on this journey with us so far and we’d love for them to join us at the start of our next step.
"When the idea was born, it was only ever meant to be a mobile coffee pod, but as time went on, it felt like the natural progression was getting a shop.
"So here we are, opening the first ever Coffee d’Ash coffee bar that was never in the business plan and we want people to come and celebrate the journey they’ve been on with us this far."
Coffee D’Ash has been serving the local area out of a mobile van since July last year from Barrow’s Outdoor Market but is now preparing for life in a more permanent setting.
Tickets to be a part of the opening cost £25, with all the proceeds going towards the renovations of the unit.
A GoFundMe page has also been set up by the couple as they look to raise £15,000 to help ensure the new coffee bar can be one of Barrow's biggest hits.
The opening event is being supported by Talia Rae, a local singer who will be covering everyone's favourite pop songs whilst visitors peruse the new premises.
