A group is being launched in Barrow later this year to help people process their grief.
The new bereavement craft group is being organised by St Mary's Hospice and will take place at their community hub on Duke Street from September.
This will provide a 'warm, supportive, and creative space' for those who have recently lost loved ones and need an outlet to deal with their feelings in an unconventional way.
To make the sessions a reality, the hospice is now turning to the local community for donations of a range of craft supplies.
These include wool and knitting materials, fabric for sewing, scrapbooking items, beads and jewellery supplies, paints, brushes and canvases.
Such donations are hoped by the hospice to help bring 'comfort and healing' through the power of creativity.
You can deliver any supplies to St Mary's Community Hub, which is open Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.
