The Pop Princesses Show that was due to take place at The Forum in Barrow has changed venue.
The show, scheduled for August 31, has now moved to the Coronation Hall in Ulverston.
The venue change follows news that a recent water leak and investigations in the backstage area of The Forum revealed the presence of asbestos.
Westmorland and Furness Council said no traces have been found in air quality tests and there is no evidence to suggest that anyone has been exposed to risk.
The issue has led to many of the scheduled August shows being moved including Pop Princesses.
Sweeney Entertainments presents the children’s pop concert with a ‘big difference’.
This ‘magical’ show about ‘beautiful’ Princesses becoming Pop Stars features a soundtrack full of top pop hits from artists such as Little Mix, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift.
Follow four fabulous Fairy tale Princesses who just love to sing, they will perform music from Meghan Trainor, Miley Cyrus, plus all the best songs from your favourite films and musicals.
The show will keep its set date and time, appearing at The Coro on Saturday August 31 at 2pm.
In an update The Forum shared on their social media page, they said: “All existing tickets will be valid for this performance but, due to the difference in the venues' seating arrangements, tickets will not be allocated to specific seats - meaning you can now sit wherever you choose.
“However, VIP Meet & Greet ticket holders will have their seats allocated at the front, near the stage, as would have been the case had the show gone ahead at the Forum.
“We are in the process of contacting all ticket holders and, once again, we thank you for your patience, understanding and support. If you have any concerns, please call our box office on 01229 820000.”
