A singer from Barrow who has 'travelled the world' will be returning home this weekend to support a local charity.
George Melvin will be the headline act at a concert on Saturday, August 3 to raise money for Vision Support Barrow and District.
The concert will be the culmination of a day of charity work and entertainment taking place at Piel View House on Abbey Road in partnership with the group 'Full of Noises'.
The day will see a range of activities, exhibitions and stalls for people to get involved with, before the big evening concert to bring the occasion to a close.
George will also be joined on stage by local band Juno and The Moons for the show that is expected to last from 7pm to 9pm.
You can get your tickets for just £5 to support Vision Support here.
