A recent bike rally in Dalton raised thousands for two local charities.
Organised by the Furness Motorcycle Action Group (FAG), the Dead End Rally made its return on July 13 and featured appearances from the region's new MP Michelle Scrogham and former Dalton Mayor Councillor Nick Perie.
One of the recipients of donations brought in through the event is CancerCare North Lancashire and South Cumbria.
They shared on Sunday that a former client of the charity, Amanda Marsen, presented the team at their Barrow centre with a cheque worth £500 on behalf of Furness MAG.
More money also went to St Mary's Hospice, based in Ulverston, which cares for people across south Cumbria.
The Dead End Rally has grown to be a hugely popular date on the local calendar, with Furness MAG now hoping that they can repeat their fundraising success next year.
