Gloucester Services (Southbound) earns the top spot as the nation's highest-rated service station, boasting a 4.0 review score on Tripadvisor. 

Renowned for its locally produced food and extensive farm shop, including a dedicated fish counter,  deli counter and patisserie, Gloucester Services features the most shops in our study, totalling 7.

Popular with UK drivers, the services have garnered an impressive 6.4M posts on TikTok and 11.4K followers on Instagram.

Beaconsfield, Cobham and Tebay (Northbound) Services jointly rank as the nation’s second highest-rated service stations, each with a review score 3.5 on Tripadvisor.

Tebay services

Tebay (Northbound) Services, part of the same family-owned motorway service station as Gloucester, is highly rated for its farm shop and picturesque landscape.

The services have 280 parking spaces and an average diesel price of 147.81 pence per litre - earning a 3.5 review score on Tripadvisor.

Tebay Services is located between J38 and J39 on both the north and southbound sides of the M6.
