A MUCH-LOVED Cumbrian festival has officially sold out for the 19th year in a row- as organisers count down one week until the event is in full swing.

Kendal Calling returns to the hallowed grounds of the stunning Lowther Deer Park in less than one week, set to transform the fields into one of the biggest parties of the Summer and rising up as Cumbria’s biggest town.

On Friday, July 26 for the 19th consecutive year, Kendal Calling was officially sold out.

Every year, Kendal Calling and its community of festival goers gather in the fields, creating magic and soaking up the palpable sense of joy within every corner, nook and cranny of the site.

The wonderful world of Kendal Calling is a festival escape like no other, with a breath-taking landscape and much to be discovered.

World-class artists this year include not four, but five mega headliners: Paolo Nutini, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, The Streets, Paul Heaton with Rianne Downey, and Keane.

The line-up doesn’t stop there with unmissable moments expected from Sugababes, Declan McKenna and the mighty The Reytons, as well as laugh out loud comedy goodness from Russell Howard, Paul Smith and more. Of course, that’s not forgetting the DJ set of the summer, as no other than Gary Neville prepares to swap out his ball skills for his deck skills, as he goes B2B with Tim Burgess.

Andy Smith, Founder of Kendal Calling said:  “Although we’ve sold out each year since 2006, we never rest on our laurels and it’s always a wonderfully fulfilling moment when that final ticket is snapped up.

"We are lucky to have a fantastically loyal community of Kendal Calling festival goers - many who return each year, others who are yet to discover the magic that’s set to unfold. So thank you one and all, we are very excited to welcome you through the gates of our home at Lowther Deer Park in less than one week.”

And although the festival is sold out, fans who may have missed out are encouraged to keep an eye on Kendal Calling’s official resale partner Tixel. Set in Lowther Deer Park in the beautiful Lake District, Kendal Calling will take place from August, 1-4 2024.
