Ulverston and Windermere are two of the places seen as 'violence hotspots' in Cumbria according to the police.
Through Operation Enhance, officers will be running patrols in 18 areas across the county that are seen to be frequent locations of such incidents.

This work is being carried out thanks to £1 million worth of funding, bringing the police to areas that have been 'identified by statistical analysis as the county's hotspot areas of anti-social behaviour and serious violence'.
These include Ulverston town centre, Bowness-on-Windermere and Kendal town centre in the south Cumbria region.
The police are now relying on accounts from the public to outline the areas that they believe need to be focused on as part of Operation Enhance.
