The landlord of a pub in Dalton has thanked his regulars after the business was nominated for an award.
At the start of the month, The Mail launched the 'Best Pub 2024' award with readers subsequently nominating their favourites.
From this, the ten finalists have now been revealed with readers able to vote for their pub of choice by picking up copies of the newspaper until August 3.
Each of the ten establishments will feature in their own article with a different one being highlighted each day as they vie to earn your support in the campaign.

Out of all the towns in Furness, Dalton was the area to receive the most nominations, with the Bridge Inn one of the pubs celebrated.
Landlord Mark Webb described how 'overwhelmed' he was after hearing the news, which serves as recognition for over a decade of service at the Bridge.
He said: "It's the customers that make any 'local'.
"I've been custodian of The Bridge Inn now for 14 years which in this day of age is pretty good going - it was closed for 18 months before that.
"Other landlords have done 26 and 25 years respectively, so it's not really had many landlords in its 130 or so years."
The first landlord, Nicholas Cornish, was listed in the 1890 census, highlighting the Bridge's longstanding connection to the area.
The pub has made a name for itself through its charity work, with monthly poker and quiz nights bringing in over £3000 for local causes.
"We take pride in encouraging the Keswick-to-Barrow walkers when they past with our playlists including 'These boots are made for walking' or 'Should I stay or should I go now', which always gets a smile.
"At present, we are still a free house but backed by Greene King, so we have Peroni, Stella, Bud Light, Thatcher's Gold, Old Speckled Hen and Guinness on draught."
If that is a line-up that whets your appetite, then you can cast your vote for the Bridge Inn by picking up a copy of The Mail by Saturday, August 3.
