The new managers of a pub in Barrow are hoping to cap their first six months in charge with an award.
At the start of the month, The Mail launched the 'Best Pub 2024' award with readers subsequently nominating their favourites.
From this, the ten finalists have now been revealed with readers able to vote for their favourite by picking up copies of the newspaper until August 3.
Each of the ten establishments will feature in their own article with a different one being highlighted each day as they vie to earn your support in the campaign.

We return to Barrow for the second time so far, visiting one of its most famous haunts: Crofters on Holdbeck Avenue.
New managers Mel Pugh and Stuart only took over the Thwaites-owned pub in February this year, meaning coming out triumphant as the best pub in Furness will prove they are heading in the right direction.

Mel said: "We feel extremely grateful and proud that people have taken their time to vote for Crofters, and we are extremely grateful to be a finalist.
"We came into Crofters after being regulars and local residents in the area - the pub is a great building which was originally an old farmhouse until Thwaites brewery took it over in 1982."
Mel explained that it was all down to the members of staff who make Crofters stand apart from other pubs, as well as its range of high quality food, drinks, and live music - including the annual Croft Fest.
For Mel and the team, no matter what happens with the award, the future is looking bright for Crofters.
"There are plans in early 2025 to convert our piggeries into an additional outdoor eating area catering for weddings, christenings and other events, and we're also in the process of obtaining a wedding licence so we can fully cater for people's special day.
"The inside of the lounge and bar areas are also being refurbished to give our customers the ultimate experience dining with us in a fresh new environment."
You can follow Crofters on Facebook and cast your vote for them by picking up a copy of the Mail by August 3.
