A RE-OPENED golf course with 10 holes enjoyed a 'busy' first week back in business.
Rampside Golf on the Coast Road opened its pitch and putt to the public on Saturday, July 20.
The 10-acre course had been closed for over a year following the death of the previous owner.
It has now been acquired by Mike Worrall who said the course had been 'really busy'.

Mike and his family had 10 weeks to do the work as they were keen to get it open for the summer holidays.
"Everyone seems really pleased it is continuing as a golf course," he said.
"There has been a lot of long days gone in it to get it open for now. There is still a lot of work to do on it and keep improving it but I am pleased with how it is looking from what it was 10 and 12 weeks ago when we got it - it is looking in decent condition."
When asked why he decided to buy the course, Mike said it had always been a dream of his to own it. He explained it came up at the 'right time' for him.
He added: "It is such a beautiful place. I played on the course as a kid and always loved it."
Rampside golf offers a 10-hole pitch and putt and a few picnic tables around where visitors can enjoy ice cream.
The shortest hole is 76 yards and the longest is about 120 yards.
Mike said the course 'seems to suit everyone' from families to individuals and groups of friends.
He said: "It is a decent course. I think that is why it is so successful.
"Up to now from what I can gather everyone seems to enjoy it - hopefully it will continue.
"It is a well-established course with plenty of trees around and it is a nice course in a nice area."
